Why should we never judge a book by its cover?

Has anyone taken the time to sit down and observe the little things in life? For normal people, sitting at a train station or traveling on it, could seem uneventful, boring, lifeless, just tiring. For the other people they see it as something more, an opportunity to peek into other people's lifestyles and discover what kind of people they are, just by looking at them, by the way they dress, how they speak, how they react to certain situations.

There is always a good and bad side to everyone, it's just their natural ying and yang. There is always going to be good and bad. Throughout time there have been examples of people that are good and people that are just pure evil, but how can you define good and bad, there is no way for everyone to see good and bad a similar way, it's just impossible. It's how each individual person see's it, which is what makes us who we are, for example, you could see a guy on a train, with tattoos, scars and a huge, built body, what would your first thought be that comes to mind about the guy? Is he a really dangerous guy, involved in something notorious? Well, what if i told you he was gay and recently just fell down a flight of stairs, that was something that you would have never thought of.

People often hide behind these massive walls they build for themselves, to protect who they really are, but in doing that, often they forget what they wanted to protect and become a totally different person. It's like trying to protect a glass vase in a rock slide, if you hide behind something, you're standing still and not going anywhere, if you run away from it, it's going to catch up, if you just put it out there, it's at risk of being smashed, if you hold it too tight you're going to break it yourself, the only way is to just throw it out there if it makes the flight, it's yours to keep, if it doesn't, leave it and find a new one. People judge you on appearance, but if you open up to show who you really are, you're open to ridicule and laughter, either way you're getting shot down. Why not go out guns blazing?

The natural ying and yang of a person, you can never really tell, how much bad there is and, how much good there is in a person, just by looking at them. In darkness there is light, in light there is darkness, it just depends how much light and darkness you possess within you, who you are, and who they are. We are all not supposed to be the same, but unique in every way. Sitting and waiting for a train shouldn't be uneventful but full of surprises, judging a book by its cover is wrong, but still gives us an idea of what a person we see could be like, and what they are inside is just a totally different story.
