My Rose

A tear for every friend astray, a smile for each memory found.
A petal for every tear shead, for every flower lost and found
Withers in darkness, shines in light, my flower stronger and bright.

Pillows wet and faces dry for the night brings sorrow and day brings strain, eyes are closed, but thy heart is open, lips are sealed but thou heart still listens, What is there cannot be found, for every beat there is a sound. For every sound there is a cry, what is there can still be found.

They are there, but they are not, their pain a whistle, silent but soft.
Soft the winds, tough the stem, but yet another petal perish.
Under the velvet snow it falls, what does it matter? nothing at all.
From me to you my flower shared, my feelings for you never dared.

The night has dawned, the day has bound, my stem was cut, my flower found to be lost again in an endless frown, cast down to my saddest gown, upon which i lay my head, for each tear drop makes a sound.

A brand new day, a brand new start, but night will come, the day is done the mask exhausted, a petal falls worn and exhausted.
My flower exasperated, diminish and downcast. For you i lay my stem humble and scared.

Happiness...

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see one that has been opened for us. For some people happiness lies in others, to be happy when you make the effort to make another person smile, and their face lights up because the effort you put in was recognised and made a difference to them. To share that happiness is something people forget to do, selfishness to only to keep that for themselves, can happiness last when the things you do is only for your benefit?

Happy, real happiness is something that people have never witnessed in a long time, who can really be happy? When you see the world as it is, the friends that surround you, happiness has no place in that world, each time a door is closed, try to force it open because, on the other side happiness awaits you, sad reality of it is. There's nothing on the other side just another door, the door that has been opened for us, how do we know it will actually bring happiness, its another chance that we take, what's the difference between the closed door and the open door? Either way we don't know what lies beyond them, only the person that opens it for us does. For one person happiness lies in another, but for some happiness lies in hope, that staring at the closed door would one day open and the time spent staring at the door would pay off, people don't want to give up about something they care for, the person that's behind that door.

Happy times, is always a memory to keep, it's a fuel source that never runs out, a fire that will not by any means wither in the strongest wind or the harshest rains, it still burns bright, the smallest flames could keep anyone going in the cold nights. Nothing last forever, not even happiness, but the memories you have will last forever, doesn't matter where you are or what you're doing. Not all flames are worth being lit, some are worth the time and effort to put out, those are the flames that shine bright, but burns, scorches and scars those are the ones that are better off thrown in a river that kept dear, it never brings happiness but hurts, thorns that need to be pulled out of the wound so that in time it heals and what is left is a constant reminder, in time your knowledge and experience will bestow wisdom on you. The doors you have been through, you know how to open but its your choice whether to open them or not.

Where does your happiness lie? Does happiness actually exist in a world like this, will money buy you happiness or will love, can you buy another person's happiness? To be happy is such an easy concept, but to implement it in real life is like trying to get a camel through an eye of a needle. "If happiness is giving yourself completely to another, without a hint of selfishness, and complete disregard for your own self, then happiness doesn’t exist." (starinthroughmyrearview.tumblr.com)

A Spirit

No life but still lives..
To die is to live.
To make mistakes... a burden.
To lose a friend... means she wasnt one to start with..
You tell me..
Pain is enjoyable to a point of relief.
Memories a knife that kills more than any mortal weapon..
Yet besides all this we dare to live...

why? each step we take is a potiental nail in our foot..
A daring knife in our back, a thorn in our side
Can never be crush, but still trampled
Never falls but still pushed
Each step we take is a potential pathway to continuous happiness...
A simple remedy for life everything in life
Simply comes down 2 attitude
Every observance, every situation, every mistake.

Notice the difference between what happens when a man says to himself "i have failed" and what happens when he says "i am a failure"

In life we fail, it's human nature that errors are committed in our life, but ideally we make those choices to let that error happen, it's not of someone else's doing that we fail but of our own accord.

Everyone learns from their mistakes, no one is perfect, but to pick yourself up every time you make that mistake is what matters, people make mistakes it's a matter of differing between right and wrong, to acknowledge what you make done, to accept that you have failed. Not everyone's views are the same so moral values differ from person to person, so a third party person in your life judges your decision, in their eyes could be seen as a failed decision or the outcome is not of his liking or the society that we live in for that matter, but the outcome of the decision is only for your benefit, what you do with that outcome and how you deal with it is the major difference between a failure and acknowledging your failure and rising to the trial of getting over it.

In a year, you might fail once, twice or maybe even three times but the reality of that is you would fail, a million time in a day and wouldn't realise the errors you have made, it's the little things in life that measure up to a point where a decision has to be made what to do with the mistakes and failed attempts. It's a matter or being able to climb up those stairs tripping, falling down, picking yourself up and just keep running up, being shot down doesn't mean you can't get to where you want because you cant fly anymore, its a matter of tying up those broken wings and using what you have left to get what you want or to get where you want, yes you would get tramped on, kicked at, pushed aside, but the emotional drive that lies in what your heart desires pushes not only you but the human body to such extremes that things that seem impossible to one person, can be seen as within their grasps of another.

Path to life isn't always set out for us, it's what we do with the tool's we have to make the path what we want it to be. life is always going to have it trials and tribulations, no one is perfect. Perfection is over rated, but trying to achieve it is not, wishing that life would throw you a life line, and turn your head when it does is just stupidity. Is someone ever the reason why your failure succeeded? Ask a person that failed three times and still got up, all he needed to know was blood was still pumping through his body and had a heart of gold, never give up on something you believe in unless what you believe in gave up on you, life throws you a life line and lets go because it believes its not worth your time anymore in letting go it allows you to fall, and learn so when you hit rock bottom, pick up that line, run up the stairs tie up life as you 'knew' it and let it roll down the stairs when you're on top, you would never want to climb down again, then live how you would want to not how life should be lived it leaves no chance of failure. The dust has settled with the trials of life and it shows the difference when a man says to himself "I have failed" and what happens when he says "I am a failure".

Failure is not an option for some people, they want what the heart desires but it comes to a point where the the trials of reaching what their desire is an impossible task, like running at a brick wall over and over again, unless you got something big enough to smash it down, failure is not an option it's something that is cast upon us that destroys our willingness to continue the fight for what we want. Accepting that you have failed, is acknowledging the trials and errors as useless but, to pick yourself up after you failed is the difference between stating "I have failed" and sitting and soaking up the mistakes and failed trials is accepting "I am a failure".

Live as you will have wished to have lived when you are dying.

You could never see around the corner, what lies after it or what's waiting for you. In the world we have our toe tippers and cannon ballers, toe tippers people that check to see what it's like first before making a decision and the cannon ballers just dive in, no matter what the outcome is because in the end doesn't matter what your decision is, your going to have to deal with it. If your a toe tipper or a cannon baller, it's your decision if you take your chance and run around the corner or take a look first then walk, if life is there to knock you out it doesn't matter if you walk or run, still going to get knocked out.

Today, people never live life they do what they have to do to get by 'surviving' is essential. Living is a totally different concept to surviving, living is enjoying life in all its wonder doing everything to experience life before their last breath. Surviving doing what is necessary to live so that they can see the next day and do the same thing so that they would be able to see the day after that. Thats not living at all and when their on their last breath, a sort of wish escapes with it, the wish to have lived not survived. Some people say life was already written for us and what we do is what was meant to happen, that we have no real power in what lies in our future just how we deal with it that is where the power if left in our choice. living life is a gift, surviving life is a burden to which there is no point in living, the end result is always the same, wished to have lived life on their terms not of one that was set of us.

Awareness does that help us live our life or does it give us and excuse to keep second guessing the decisions we make? Conflict of interest, you can be aware of the situation that lies before you, what outcome it would have in each decision you make, but what the mind doesn't want the heart desires, what the heart doesn't want the mind desires. Even if its bad for you and you have the knowledge that it will hurt you, there is no stopping how you feel or what your heart wants, this is why the heart always wins over the mind. if fate handed you it's last deck of cards and had a limited amount of time before it engulfs you, would you have lived differently to the way you were just living? or would u just keeping living as you were? The story of Adam and Eve, how they defied God and ate from the forbidden tree, it gave them knowledge of good and evil, what the mind desires the heart doesn't want. It was only the mind that was effected by knowledge, but knowledge does not effect how you feel or he things you do out of affection for one and other, things you do out of our own accord does not come from your mind but from the heart, happiness in life, come from making the person next to you smile.

live as you will have wished to have lived when you are dying. Death is just a stepping stone into the unknown, instead of fearing it, embrace it with open arms, after you have gone only you would know what lies after the unknown, this corrupt world would be a thing of the past. The people you love and miss, will all have to go through this experience one day, and in that time death is what you make of it. Live to be remembered, die to leave a legacy.

What is art?

When I put my pencil to the blank paper,
don't know what the outcome will look like.
It's the anticipation of the end product,
that entices you...
to draw what you're intending on doing.
Drawing for many people is an outlet,
where the pen acts like a free-flowing tap
into those feelings which can't be expressed in mere words.

Actions often get spilt onto paper,
a roaring wild fire which spreads like there is no end.
Raw emotion put on paper,
creeping across the plains of white,
the pen crosses the bare landscape
splashing feelings and emotions,
allowing that outlet to flow with a constant rush,
and pure feeling poured out onto paper.

The brain is blank to the paper
even when your hand is moving.
It's not your brain telling it where to move,
but your still-beating heart,
a direct connection to the pen
until all is drained of what you kept inside;
once bottled up then let go,
free to its will.

Once the heart is stopped,
your head comes to realise
what has happened,
but doesn't know how it happened
or where it came from.
Just a slight sense of relief,
and a last breath before the end.

The rushing tap is closed,
the vessel ready to be filled again.
Art is an outlet,
where anything kept within is released.
It matters not which emotion,
or how intense it can become;
rather, how easy it is to release,
when the pen is put to paper.

What is utopia? What does this word mean to me? What is my utopia

Utopia, a perfect world in which everyone would live in peace and prosperity. In the real world man has his freedom, to make his own choices, this is why a perfect world cannot exist. We all have our own voices and opinions on certain idealist ways of life. We all want to live a certain way different to the man next to us. Imagine a world where no one lies or deceives, we can only imagine that sort of idea. Lies and deceipt are some of the key components that make this world go round. 'Altruism' is one of the amazing realities that really hits you, friends, parents, lovers, thinking they do selfless acts out of kindness and generosity, but think about it in detail, an angle that hasn't been looked at before is just surprising. People are only capable of giving to others, if it benefits themselves or make themselves look good, it is never or actually is for the other peoples benefits, but always for themselves.

Utopia is like Neverland, where fairies and children live, that never turn old. It captures the innocence of children and is a place where freedom has no bounds; the essential fact that is, that it just cannot exist. We all have different values but are greedy, only thinking of satisfying the needs for ourselves. If utopia was an island and it really did exist, it wouldn't take long to turn into a hole, friends are the ones you keep close to, you do favours out of your our accord, but in reality you do for your own benefit. It's really surprising individualistic society and their own utopia, they think they're in this perfect world, first world nations with all the luxuries in life, until the time they die, but is that really what life should be like? To be born, survive, die. Life should be more than that, it should have more meaning to it, something that when you look back you can say, I lived not survived. They say be yourself, be who you are, I say be someone that you're not supposed to be, someone that society would deem as extreme, crazy, insane, but have moral values and respect for life. Be insane with the ideas that surround you, something that would make a difference to a better world. A utopia cannot exist unless you build it yourself.

Don't do something that benefits yourself, but do something that would benefit others by you doing selfless acts. The lies and deception will never leave this world no matter what we do, I'm the biggest hypocrite of them all, I lie and deceive all the time, I can't help it, but we are surrounded but humans an intergrated species on this planet that strives itself to be the best and survive the elements of time. The weakness of every living thing, it's not a nuclear bomb or a gun, nor a sword or a tool that can cause harm to another but it's as simple as itself, it's hope. It's weakness, if you have no hope, where will be no struggle for happiness. Life doesn't have happy ending, just a pit where we fall in when we surrender, when we put down the guns that we struggle to live by in this world.

A world where friends lie, family deceives, lovers thrust a sword through your heart. It's often that we feel alone, only able to trust ourselves keep everything in the confidence of one's soul. Trust in this world is a rare sight to marvel at, rather than be involved in the world take a step back, observe, witness how friends desert each other, people abandon each other for betterment of themselves. People don't care about others as long as they get what they want, they use you and discard you when your of no use to them anymore, this is how actually they world is, a wise man once said awareness will be the rise to your greatness, i have yet to understand that concept "Hope deceives more men than cunning does.". A person these day can lie at the snap of a finger but yet we stay faithful to them no matter what it was, the most painful part of living in this world is we accept it, because we want to be a part of their lives. A utopia in a world like this, there's a more likely chance of men breathing in space. we cant change who they are, but in turn changes who we are, in the process forgetting who we were in the beginning. They say the world keeps changing, and people change with it, no the people change and their world changes with the decision they have made.

Diversity is what makes us different, but also divides us into groups that we don't want to be in, who would want to be different to other people, just stop and think, a relationship with diversity how long will that last for? people want their cake and eat it too, and most people give it to them without hesitation because they care. although it is a wrong statement because people only care for the benefit of themselves. What can I get from this person that can benefit me? They give them the care and attention because it will benefit them in the long run. Most selfless acts can be undone, just by observing in what context the action is done under. The people that leave a legacy in this world after they die, their acts can be seen as selfless - Mother Teresa and the Dalai Lama are excellent examples of this. It's sad sometimes waiting for something or someone to come along and make your life a better place, but hope is a tool never to be trusted, it's like handing a child a loaded gun, now someone is going to get hurt. Utopia is what you make of it, but it can never exist because of the people we live with. People will not going to stop lying and deceiving on your count, but the key is, when they do lie, just smile and nod and disappear into your utopia.

Friends, relationships.

What do other people mean to us? Do we care about them? Do we like them for who they are? Relationships with others don’t define us, but certainly influence how we live life. People ever since they open their eyes for the first time, until the close their eyes for the last time, they are surrounded by people that care for them, but do those people define who that person is going to be; No, you can’t define a person just by looking at the people that surround them, you are defined how on you see good and bad.

It’s your choice to be with the people that surround you, you’re not forced to be with them, it’s your choice, you always can’t change who you are, it would be cheating yourself, who you are is who you are, you have your own ideals and ideas on how to live life, the people that surround you are sometimes not trust worthy, the relationship with them was a total lie, a waste of time, thinking that you knew that person for who they are, but in reality they don’t know who they are themselves. It’s hard to be surrounded by people who define who we are instead of getting to know who you are and what we stand for. Even if people define us, do we know who we are? We may think that we are a certain type of person but in reality we might be the complete opposite, we say we are good friends but are we really? Mistakes are made by everyone no one is perfect but are friends the first one to forgive or the last one to forgive? The relationship we have with others no matter what relationship is still a relationship, we are linked to them somehow and a relationship should be able to withstand trial and error, without faultier, then it’s a relationship worth being defined over.

Sometimes the people that surround you are like roses, they may smell good, look good but with a closer look each rose has thorns, that could cut and hurt if not held properly, but it's the risk that people take in plucking that rose to keep close, but once the rose has been plucked it needs to be nurtured, cared for and looked after, that way it will always blossom in your life, the beauty and petals are still there for years to come. People often don't think before plucking roses, that why it cuts and bleeds they are just as dangerous when they are, but with a firm grasp, it will cut, with the beautiful what lays in your hands are worth every cut, are those people that define u worth the trouble? We are merely a spot in the universe, you are who you are, if you need help defining who you are, instead of spending time defining who you are, search what meaning your life has, what kind of person you really are without other peoples influence, if people help you define who you are, then you’re not yourself, your who they want you to be, you could be surrounded with people that have different values and different ways at looking at viewing certain things, but you should have your own values unhampered by others opinion, then you can certainly original and the relationship with others don’t effect who we are, otherwise we would be living a life of other person than our own.

People could be defined on a large scale like the relationship between United States and Australia, these ties have always been questioned, yes we are defined over it, but we don’t take into effect how people define us because in our mind we are doing the right thing, our relationship with the united states are at an level of understanding that, if united state goes to war, we would be there to support them because they are trusted allies of Australia and they would do the same if Australia makes the same decision. A relationship works to like a two way road, there’s always give and take. The other countries aren’t going to be there if rival country wants to go to war with Australia, but United States trusted allies of Australia would be there as a safety net for our nation, people could define us on how we choose our allegiance, but the security we have are not compared to them.
Relationships with others help us define who we are, relationship with others does not define who we are, who we are is who we see ourselves as, defining us would just be a waste of time, who we are doesn’t matter anymore in a this world, but what we make of ourselves does.

My Bucket List

A bucket list is a list of things to do before you kick the bucket, everyday life just passes you by wont even know the time of day if your integrated into how life is supposed to be, just living life how its supposed to just to survive, but the bucket list is give a chance to break away from everyday life and do something different be something your always wanted to be, or something you always wanted to do, but can't be cause life has its calling. To write down all that you wanted to do somewhere, just keep adding to it as life passes you by.

My Bucket List

1.) Go to Amsterdam with my best friend
2.) Skydiving with best friends
3.) Walk around Saudi Arabia with shorts
4.) Spend the weekend on a deserted island with best friends
5.) Be a franchisee.
6.) Get Conros.
7.) Pull up next to Luke's car and tell him "nice car"
8.) Tell people "You're not in India anymore"
9.) Relax on a boat near the islands.
10.) Buy a house and move out.
11.) Get my eyebrow and ears pierced.
12.) Get a mohawk
13.) Pull up a chair with a cooler and sit on the frontlines and have a couple of beers
14.) Check family history (genealogy)
15.) Want to see the moon hit the beach one more time
16.) Want to spend the night on the beach with someone
17.) Work for the UN for sometime
18.) Tell a Turk I'm Cypriot
19.) Spend a whole day staring at the sky
20.) Get the best subwoofers in the market

The reason for my number one bucket list goal to go to Amsterdam with my best friend is spending time with someone that you can talk to about anything, is just enjoyable even when you're not doing anything. Imagine going overseas to a country where tourist attractions are crazy, going everywhere to bar's, clubs, parties which are breathtaking, being able to do everything you ever wanted to do, every night for the next week! It is overwhelming just thinking about it... having a hotel room all to yourself coming back when you want to, with whomever you want, waking up in the morning going 'ouch crazy night' with a massive headache, but worth it and do it again the next night. My goal to go overseas with my best friend, to sit somewhere just talking about life, and where it's going to take us and just hoping that that weekend never ends is high on the bucket list. When finally the holiday is over, and it's time to go back home, we get older we talk about the past and what we got up to, something to tell the grandkids about, how we used to be as teenagers.

Why should we never judge a book by its cover?

Has anyone taken the time to sit down and observe the little things in life? For normal people, sitting at a train station or traveling on it, could seem uneventful, boring, lifeless, just tiring. For the other people they see it as something more, an opportunity to peek into other people's lifestyles and discover what kind of people they are, just by looking at them, by the way they dress, how they speak, how they react to certain situations.

There is always a good and bad side to everyone, it's just their natural ying and yang. There is always going to be good and bad. Throughout time there have been examples of people that are good and people that are just pure evil, but how can you define good and bad, there is no way for everyone to see good and bad a similar way, it's just impossible. It's how each individual person see's it, which is what makes us who we are, for example, you could see a guy on a train, with tattoos, scars and a huge, built body, what would your first thought be that comes to mind about the guy? Is he a really dangerous guy, involved in something notorious? Well, what if i told you he was gay and recently just fell down a flight of stairs, that was something that you would have never thought of.

People often hide behind these massive walls they build for themselves, to protect who they really are, but in doing that, often they forget what they wanted to protect and become a totally different person. It's like trying to protect a glass vase in a rock slide, if you hide behind something, you're standing still and not going anywhere, if you run away from it, it's going to catch up, if you just put it out there, it's at risk of being smashed, if you hold it too tight you're going to break it yourself, the only way is to just throw it out there if it makes the flight, it's yours to keep, if it doesn't, leave it and find a new one. People judge you on appearance, but if you open up to show who you really are, you're open to ridicule and laughter, either way you're getting shot down. Why not go out guns blazing?

The natural ying and yang of a person, you can never really tell, how much bad there is and, how much good there is in a person, just by looking at them. In darkness there is light, in light there is darkness, it just depends how much light and darkness you possess within you, who you are, and who they are. We are all not supposed to be the same, but unique in every way. Sitting and waiting for a train shouldn't be uneventful but full of surprises, judging a book by its cover is wrong, but still gives us an idea of what a person we see could be like, and what they are inside is just a totally different story.

Belonging to a group does not always create a sense of fulfillment

Belonging to a group always has a sense of fulfillment, not because you are with people but you're with the people you enjoy to be and spend time with. Human beings are naturally social creatures, throughout history humans have interacted with each other in massive groups from the beginning of time. Caveman, hunting and forging parties for the community, their tribe, every single person in that group of people have a sense of fulfillment not because they are in a group but they are with family and friends, and in that group they all have individual skills to contribute to the group to help the tribe survive. This creates a unique sense of fulfillment knowing that your skills help a tribe survive.

As time passed, tribes and groups grew into countries and empires with each person belonging to a specific group among the them to help it survive. As it gets larger people's efforts and contributions often don't get recognised by the certain group of people, the fulfillment of each person and satisfaction of knowing that you actually did something to help even the smallest thing is forgotten, the sense of fulfillment is not there anymore. To have a sense of fulfillment, knowledge of the group that you are part of is necessary, to know if you feel satisfied with who you are with, and what you do with them. Do you enjoy being with them or are you just with them out of fear of being left alone?

Being a part of any group, isn't fulfilling but being a part of a group where you can be yourself and people embrace who you are is fulfilling. Anything you do for the betterment of the group is recognised and appreciated, it does always create a sense of fulfillment being in a group that values your presence, cause it shows your opinion matters in whatever step the group takes. A sense of fulfillment can be created by anything someone does, like an accomplishment in your own life, knowing you did something that would greatly effect your own life is still fulfilling, but it still isn't the same as doing something for the furtherance of the group, because is recognised by all the people involved in the group. There are good groups and bad groups all have their own values and rules that you would have to follow to be a part of. An extreme example would be the police and drug dealers; each group has their own values and ideals, but to belong to any of them you have to know what values you have and what ideals you stand for.

Before you even belonging to a group you have to figure out who you are to be a part of it, or you would joint a group not knowing who you are and adopting values and ideal that are not yours. Further, to continue participating with a group out of fear of being alone in the world, or just wanting to be a part of something to make you feel fulfillment of having some people there to help you in need is necessary. Humans are social creatures we always have to be in a group, no matter what happens it the only way to survive in the world, even from the start of time, if you are left alone in the wild, there is no hope of surviving not because your alone but because each person has a separate skill from another person, and each person contributes their skills for the enhancement of the group. Belonging to a group does always create a sense of fulfillment, because it's just the way we are, the way we are created, and evolution over time demonstrates that belonging to a group has its fulfillment in whatever you do in the group.

It is through our search for identity that we discover where we truly belong.

People would search for who they are, and where they belong, their whole entire life, but most people struggle to find why they are here, what their purpose is on this world and where do they belong. Throughout life, people try to make up something of themselves, to be successful, to be great, but to be any of those things. Search for your true identity, and you would find more than that. Belonging to something that has the same values as yourself but to belong to a group or tribe, you have to find who you are first what you stand for, what values you actually up hold, to find your identity.

'Some men are born great, some achieve greatness, some have greatness thirsted upon them'. (Shakespeare). Alexander the great, was born into a great family that had massive power and influence in Macedonia, his identity and values passed down from his father, to one day have the whole of greece united, but Alexander wanted more than his father did and went on to conquer most of the eastern empires, his search for identity led him across asia, until his death where his identity was shaped as a conqueror, he truly belong as a king of East 'some men are born great'. Hitler was originally an artist on the streets of austria, but through his search for identity and power, he achieved greatness until he went mad with power but he was able to achieve what no man could achieve in that time, was pull a country out of depression 'some achieve greatness' in search for his identity showed where he truly belonged, but at the cost of madness. Joanna Arc had greatness thirsted upon her to led the french army to victory and to liberate france from the british, her identity was a farm girl but after her search for who she was and with the help of a higher being, she found her self in the french army and thats where she truly belonged.

People through out history has given their life to find who they are and what values they have and you can say that its not a wasted life, who would want to live through life living in someone else footpath, someone else dream and living in their identity, hold up values that you grew up with but, have your own to attend to, that would be a wasted life, living life as it passes you by. "the perfect blossom is a rare thing. You can spend your whole life looking for one and it wont be a wasted life." (Katsumoto,The last samurai). This quote can have such great meaning in life if studied closely, looking for even the most simplest things in life isn't a waste cause it can hold much beauty in it that its worth spending a whole life looking for it, looking for who u are what you are made of your identity for your whole life and it wont be a wasted life, cause if u do find who you are, it show you where you belong and what values you have. People are often, who they don't wan't to be, but they are who they are cause life seems so overwhelming that, it just much easier to walk in someone else's footsteps and do what you don't want to do and be who you have no intention of being. "Many people sacrifice their identities by not doing what they want to do. And thats why they're not successful" (James Baldwin)

people philosophize about society and identity, but often contradicting each other, "society exists only as a mental concept; in the real world thee are only individuals" Oscar Wilde compare this quote to Mother Theresa "if we have no peace, its because we have forgotten that we belong to each other" these two quotes has such meaning to it, but two totally different meanings. Each stating the opposite of each other.Oscar Wilde states that belonging is just a mental concept, and identities are individual from each other to an extent that societies a figure of our imagination. Mother Theresa "We can have no peace if we forget that we belong with each other", then by searching for who we are, we find belonging and peace within ourselves and the people that surround us. Civilization as we know it changes everyday with it being new concepts and ideas, history has shown search for identity will give you belonging, but history never repeats itself.

We cannot always be ourselves in the company of others.

We really cannot always be ourselves even without the company of others, we always pretend to be someone we are not, but want to be the person we pretend to be. In the company of others we are something we are not, we know it, they don't, but to keep the company of others we have to pretend to be that person out of fear we might lose them. Humans are very social creatures, we love to be in the company of others, doesn't matter who it is, but if you're able to communicate with them, you keep the mirage going for as long as possible to keep our identity a secret.

What we do everyday in life is judged by other people, even with the smallest of tasks, people watch you and make up their mind what they think of you without even, having any communication with you. We cannot be ourselves in the company of others without being judged, or ridiculed. What choice do we have, if we put up walls and hide behind them, if we drop our defenses we are vulnerable for persecution by the company that surround us. It's like a chubby boy going to the pools, before he gets into the pool he puts a shirt on, but if he drops his defenses and goes shirtless he is vulnerable to laughter and humiliation, 'titty boy'. The same goes for each of the people within the group that surrounds you, wouldn't it be different if you met a person one on one, and then you meet them with their friends, they would be totally different people. So, to fit in with their friends, the person you met one on one, is like a totally different person; they would have their own personality but hide it to fit in.

Each person is different, no one is made the same or, lives the same, except the Amish, they are all alike. They are all the same because, they don't have to act different from who they are, they are all brought up in the same way so they would have the same ideals and values, therefore they are all the same simple people. In the company of others, they are simple people with moral values, and are very honest and truthful. Something you don't find very often these days, but if found are kept very close because it's not easy to find another. People that stay honest to themselves, and have some moral values, would find friends that share the same, not abandon who they are to be something they are not.

How does religion impact on our personal identity?

Religion, by itself has its own effect on the community, on how people think, their train of thought, what they do in life. Your personal identity could be effected by the religion you follow, it depends on how you were brought up, it shows your understanding to what is right and wrong. There are different religions in the world and each of them help mould what kind of person you would be, the religious values that have to be upheld with the religion that you choose to follow or the religion you grew up in. In the middle east, religious values are different to other religions, so it defines right from wrong in the eyes of the community, from the western religion.

Some of the religious values the middle eastern people hold because they were brought up that way maybe viewed as wrong in which the western people where brought up, but its our personal identity that defines us from the rest, no matter what religion you follow, but some people out of fear don't have their own personal identity, but one of which that has been provided by the community that follows that religion. There are very few people in the world that have their very own personal identity, because each person wants to belong to a group of some kind, and having a very unique identity could cause a problem, to socialize with other people, and to blend in with the community. Just by having your views on things that is right and wrong, or what values you hold would not be seen as very religious, therefore you would not be in a community that doesn't, uphold your values. It would be like taking an red neck and placing him in the northern provence of Pakistan, his values and the ones of the community would be very different like Ying and Yang just two different things.

Some of the values that the Pakistani's stand for, would be viewed as barbarous by the western people. Similarly, the values that the western culture believes is viewed as unholy and insane in the Pakistani religion. Religion has a massive impact on personal identity, how you think, how you view things in the world, if its bad or good, but religion is not supposed to have an impact on your personal identity, but people that don't really have one, would be given an identity by the religion in which they follow. The religion itself has its own identity among other religions, it's what defines it as different, but defines us as a part of a community in which we all have the same values and identity because we follow the same religion. To have your very own personal identity, something that makes us, who we are, requires that we live in an isolated place, so no one can affect, how you think, or show you what's right and wrong, it's your judgement of things that would define you.

Are we alone?

We live in a world where we are confined to our space, in which we live our lives, from life to death, but what if there was more meaning to it? More than living and dying. A bigger being out there, that looks down upon us and decides who lives and who dies, what we do in life and who we carry out our lives with, what culture we are stuck with. Are we alone? Who wouldn't want to be alone? To make our own fate in life not one that has been decided for us, to walk on a footpath that has been already laid out for us, all we have to do is follow it. A great man makes his own fate, lays out his own footpath in life, yet it is a bit harder, but to where it leads is your choice to make not anyone else's, that person just dismisses the idea of a higher being and makes his own fortune in life. That's how great people are made.

We are not alone in anything we do, we are always watched by someone else or something, with every move we make, people judge us, criticize us for making our own path in life. To be different instead of following a predestined path, making your own decisions, upon which other people will follow. Some people, pray for the needs in life, some people work hard for it, which one of these people actually get the work done faster; the one that's praying or the one that actually does the work? We think we are not alone. Why? It is because we are dependent creatures from the day we are born to the day we die, always dependent on a superior being to get things done for us, never able to do things without help from others, in any situation. People say you deserve what comes to you, some people work tirelessly to get work done, but still get nothing in return, does that person deserve that? Take the example of "pursuit of happiness", the guy in the movie made his own fate and refuses to take the hand that he was dealt, working tirelessly, he got what was coming to him because he made his own fate in life and didn't depend on anyone else to make his life any better.

People that are left alone in life are better off than people that have a community around, because that person that is left alone in life, makes all of his decisions based on what he wants to do and the betterment of himself. However the person with the community around him has to make decisions based upon how the community see's him, which is not for the betterment of himself but only his image in which he hides behind. It is just sad how some people do that just so they won't be left alone. Are we alone? No we are not, but to be left alone is a gift not to be taken lightly. Loneliness is the key to living a life that is not judged or criticized but anyone else but yourself.

Inspiration behind vis-com project: the designer speaks.

Todays design on planes are too dull and without life. Every plane looks the same coming into airports and going out, doesn't anyone want to look through an airport window and say, "wow look at that airplane", or that "plane looks funny"? That way the airline company Qatar would have an new design that brings out the planes' personality and are comical and pleasing to the peoples eyes, people in the airport that are flying on competitors would envy not fly in a "camel" or something that gives life to the airplane.
Qatar airways, is a 5 star airline company, but its designs and colour look like it was designed at a funeral; dark maroon and grey, looking at the airline would be just depressing. The new designs coming out, everyone not only at the airport but in the sky would be looking twice to see what airline is it, but some first class passengers would actually mind that change but, we have more designs that are more elegant and not that much of a comical standard, but it gives the first class standard they are expecting. The Arab theme would be good since its symmetric and very elegant. Some of the main comical designs I came up with was a camel, ethic dresses on the plane, a stampede of horses or camels along the side of the belly of the plane. Designs from the movie Soul plane could be used, like that scene when they were about to take off on the run way with the plane full of black people, had rims on the plane, painted purple with a decal on the side saying "Soulplane", the pilot was Snoop.Dg and they had bling on the wing, in the very same scene the plane from Texas, had a bull horns on the front in response to the soul plane they rolled up the window, which is not possible, but the comical relief is there.
Each airline should be different enough to distinguish where it originates from, and its background. Each airline company should look different, so that it gives life to the airport its arriving in and a better competition for competitors, because with unique deigns people would be able to pick out which airline it is, and where they come from or where its going. Let's just say a plane is flying from Qatar to Melbourne, wouldn't it look funny if a camels head was painted at the front of the plane with its tongue sticking out when they arrive in Melbourne, and through the glass window you could see the camels head looking at you.

Are law enforcement cameras an invasion of privacy

Law enforcement cameras are there for public safety and to ensure the streets of cities, subways and public areas are safe. In today's world with terrorism and crazy murders, the streets are filled with potential hazards, people that might be a threat to the city of Melbourne, or have the potential to cause loss of life to one or to hundreds of people. These cameras can pinpoint the location of people that might be a threat to society, or catch them in the act. These cameras allow people to feel safe. Without any knowledge of them, people that do cause disruptions to society and cause harm are put away for their actions. Yes, these cameras are everywhere you look, on a tree, in train stations, even in buses; these are some of the places past crimes have taken place. You can't help where these criminal activities take place. For example, bashing on trains, drug use in children's parks and public drunkenness, violent club attacks, potential terror threats, all of these constantly happen in everyday life.

You just can't help it. With these cameras, police can find wanted criminals, missing people, and acts of violence would be kept to a minimum because people are under surveillance. Parks would be seen as parks again. Any crime about to take place would be acted on by the police before it is able to escalate to a hazardous situation, for the victim or the attacker. Some law enforcement cameras are an invasion of privacy if placed in a suburban street, however, most cameras are placed all over the city, and watching everyone like ants. I would say it is overkill for the protection of people or for their safety. If this is what has to be done for people's safety, then it has to be done; rather be safe than sorry.

Law enforcement cameras are there for the public's well being, but there have been reports of these cameras being misused on some occasions. Since then, action has been taken to conduct these cameras in a professional manner, and not for personal benefit. Law enforcement cameras have benefits for public safety, but if these cameras are in use by someone else for personal benefit it can be an invasion of privacy.

Does boredom lead to trouble?

I know for a fact that when I get bored or have nothing to do, it really does often lead to trouble of all sorts. You can't be a kid without getting in trouble, because kids are always inquisitive wanting to know more about what it does and how it works, they are always poking their fingers in things. Thats why today's kids need to be T.V. zombies. that way no trouble could happen, however as kids grow up they get into deeper waters, and they always want to explore more. The more they explore the more dangerous it gets for them, but if parents don't let them explore life themselves, it could be dangerous for the kids. The older they get the more deeper the water becomes, and if they don't have a look under the water to see what's there, they can get injured, eaten, dragged under the water to a point of no return. If these kids take the dive to explore their futures by themselves, they know what they getting into. If parents learn to let their children learn for themselves, boredom wouldn't exist, kids would be looking around learning new things about life and being in a controlled situation, where they can explore. If they do start to drown or suffocate, parents and teachers are able to pull them out of the water. Yes, I would say boredom certainly does lead to trouble. So to keep people from being bored, don't keep them tied up, because if you do, it is going to be a ticking time bomb at a point where the person just wants to break through, and experience all these things at once, and end up getting in deeper waters than they can handle.

Film review "Look both ways"

The film "Look both ways" is an Australian movie about peoples lives that entwine around death and dealing with death. The principal cast and characters, William McInnes (Nick) and Justine Clarke (Meryl) lives fuse after Robs death on the train tracks, even before that, these characters were dealing with the witnessing of Robs death, Meryl was dealing with her fathers death, and Nick was dealing with the fact that he has cancer and there is a chance that he could die. Sarah Watts carefully weaves their lives together in which they find themselves in life changing moments in their lives.

The movie constantly revolves about death even when new life is one of the topics in the film. Nick's workmate Anthony Hayes (Andy) has two children from the previous marriage, and has a problem with an unplanned pregnancy with his girlfriend. Andy's life is all about his reporting, but his reporting isn't very good in the film. The unplanned pregnancy was a new life that was to come into this world but, it could interfere with their lives that they were living, so abortion was one of the options that Lisa Flanagan (Anna) put forward. Death also surrounds new life in the movie until the rain comes pouring down as a symbol of cleansing. This is a very notable symbol in the movie because thats when all the characters in the movie have a fresh start to a new life without any attachment to the past e.g. Andreas Sobik (the train driver) "I'm the train driver, I'm sorry" Daniella Jarinacci (Julia) "it wasn't your fault" and with that, the rain pours down in the background, and the train diver can now put this behind him, similarly, Julia can get on with her life.

The lives of Nick and Meryl in the movie, having met after the accident by chance, and the conversation they have surrounded death, hers was about the picture he took that day, and his was about the picture of the sea she painted and the person in the picture drowning, and the sharks are about to eat him. Both these characters continuously have visions or images of death flashing through their head, even in the most intimate part of the movie, they think about death and a key factor it played in their lives. This key factor drew them together because they both have to deal with the same problem, death.

Describe the fears that bombard you and indicate whether they are real or exaggerated.

fear is a part of everyday life. We cant live with it we cant live without it, we all live in constant fear if we are going to get caught or fear if we don't do anything in life, that we are not living life in all its splendor, we all experience fear from the poor to the rich, fear of death, fear of losing everything. Just imagine a world with no fear, where we can all live in a peaceful society, without fear that can bombard you to make decisions that you don't want to make, a choice in life that is not yours to make but rather someone else makes it for you, when are are growing up people make choices for you from what you wear to what you eat, to who you talk to and when you go to the toilet. In what part of life, do we make choices for ourselves without having fear of the consequences that will come with our decisions is it real of not. That we will only see in the future, there is no such thing as exaggerated fear just constant anxiety that something might happen to intrude in your perfect world that you have created for yourself. Yes fear is a part of everyday human life, but its a part that we can live without. Living life without fear of the consequences that come with it. We living in a society that constantly judges us when the don't even know who we are, or where we come from, or why we do things in life. They look at their perfect world and expect us to be a part of it, but each of us have our own view of a perfect world, but fear of showing it someone to only get criticized about it, because our perfect world doesn't level up to the expectation of their world. Fear shouldn't be a part of of life, because we if make our choices based on fear, we are not living our life, we are living someone else's shadow of life and the only thing making us do his is constant fear of what someone else will think of us, is i real fear of exaggerated fear, fear is fear, we all live with it without even knowing. Its like living on top of a volcano, you don't know when it is going to erupt and destroy your whole life but it does give signs of danger, time and time again, it our choice to ignore the fear and live our life no matter what, but if we live ignoring it, we can live in our own world, without fear of it erupting below us, it only when you give into fear that your living someone else's shadow of life not what life you want to live. "to conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom" - Betrand Russell
I always seen life as a wedge in the road, their two paths u can take on it, one path takes you somewhere and the other somewhere else, it doesn't matter what path you take as long as your not forced into a path that you don't want to take by the people behind you. Take a path in which fear is not a part of so there are no rocks on your roads, no pothole, or road blocks, so its your path in life that no one can influence you to make decisions whether to go around the road block or ride over the rock. If you take a path with rocks and roadblocks in it, its not your path but its a path that someone else already took and with that path they achieve what they wanted but for you to achieve the same thing you have got to ride through road blocks, potholes and rock, of what problems they left behind on their path to their life.
Live a life without fear and its your life to live.

Love

what does that word even mean anymore... does it have meaning to it or has it lost all value. this word causes more pain than happiness, more misery than joy. people from all around the world use it, there is a word for it in every language, but yet we fail to master the arts of love, love is it a phycial action shown to each other or is it a word used by insure people. love is special, cause it can cause allot of damage to a person put in the wrong hands but if place in the right hands it can make a person feel like on top of the world. everyone wants someone to love them, they say that everyone on earth are made in pairs, no one is will ever alone. love what is it? to make love is just magical but to have it with retained with u between two people is just a feeling that can be with u for a life time. is it worth waiting for love or love waiting to have you, can people trust each other? humans are filled with lies and hate for each other, even between the people we love. is it right if u love some one be honest with them no matter what. what if i told her i loved her, would it be right, would she feel the same way, or just shut me out again, questions are just obstacles you don't need to jump over, just through. We were give, Two hands to hold, Two legs to walk, Two eyes to see, Two ears to listen, But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find. i found a heart, but will that heart expect me for who i am? or accept me for what that heart thinks i am?
i want her heart so i can treasure protect it from getting hurt, but will she do the same for mine?
LOVE, We think about it, Sing about it, Dream about it and Loose sleep worrying about it. When we don't know we have it, we search for it. When we discover it, we don't know what to do with it. When we have it, we fear loosing it. It is the constant source of pleasure and pain. But we don't know which it will be from one moment to the next. It is a short word, easy to spell, difficult to define and IMPOSSIBLE to live without.

Decisions...

Every day of every minute, we all are faced with decisions in our lives, it can range from insignificant decisions like what colour top to wear to what we do with our lives. With those decisions comes its pros and cons but..... some of the decision we chose to make are sometimes faced with a reality of this world. my decisions in my life are always pro-longed cause each decision has its outcomes and each outcome its consequence. why do we strive to do better in life? why is it we try so hard to get what we want? but yet we try so hard but we always one step behind our accomplishments.... because its a decision we make. This world is a cut throat world if your not one step ahead of everyone your neck is on the line, this has to go with everything, from relationships to your job, if your not one step ahead of the guy next to u, hes going to stab u! sometimes we make decisions in our lives that effect the people around us.. should we really care for the people around us or face reality in life and only make decisions that are good for us, and what happens on the other side of the fence is their problem. one of the most significant decisions in life are made with our partner or the person we choose to be with... why do they choose to be with u... what reason do they have to love u..spend time with u, care for u or even look at u. Some people, love the attention they get when they are with someone, they get their thrill at another persons expense and leave them with the job of picking up the pieces, or we actually find someone that cares for us but we just don't feel the same anymore, why is that, why do we take other peoples feelings for granted, is it because, we know as humans we can always achieve better, or is it cause we just cant be happy with what we have. there is a saying "misery loves company" is that true or is it just normal human dependency that we always need someone to help us or be with us in our time of need, someone that we can reach out to that is our same level or situation as us, humans are social animals, we live in large societies that comprise of larger groups or ethic back ground, we are bound to where we are from and what runs through our vains, certain decisions are made for us through fate.... some people say our future is already written in the stars.... other make their own.. what would u do leave it up to fate or make your own path in life by being head strong. why? do we do things? humans are creatures like no other uniques in every kind, cause only we can betray our brothers and sisters, we are the one with freedom to choose and decide on our path.
